Okay so I could have easily made this an Instagram caption but the views on this blog is currently 19.9k and I really want to hit 20k like right now so I thought why not turn that Instagram caption in a blogpost that even after several years, people can still find it and make use of the information shared also incase I delete my Instagram again hahahahaha.

If you know me, you’d know I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee all things hair, thanks to my mum who has been a hair dresser for over 22years now and counting. She however doesn’t sell hair {weaves and wigs} so I’ve had to constantly search for good hair vendors to purchase from. I’m a little ashamed to say I’m not even 25 years old yet but I’ve spent nearly two million naira buying hair in the past 3 years. I recently had a rethink of my expenses thanks to COVID-19 and realized that all the hair I had previously purchased, I’ve given them out to my mom and sister because I get bored of my hair really fast so what’s the point spending so much on hair? I then decided to start buying cheaper hair {think synthetic and human hair blend}. So far, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on these cheap hair like this one and this one and even people asking me where they can purchase similar so in this post, I’d be sharing with you 3 affordable hair vendors with great service…

They specialize in hair clip in and wigs that mimic the 4c hair texture. They have lots of fun styles and a lot of their products are below 30,000naira

They are the go to for hair extensions from braiding hair to kinky hair and even hair for crochet. The last hair I purchased from them for a vixen crochet got a ton of compliments I can’t wait to do it again.

I just got the wig in featured image in this post from them and I’m completely in love!!! Their service is exceptional and their prices very fair. I can’t wait to shop some more from them, I’ve got eyes on the Neesha 202

These are three hair brands I’ve tried and trust as I won’t want to mislead anyone, however there are others like naturalgirlwigs and nappykulture which I do have plans of shopping from in the near future. I’ve also gotten some really nice cheap hair from yaba market like this one and also lagos island like this one. I do hope you find this post helpful, if you do, don’t forget to let me know in the comments and also share with friends.

I’d also like to know who some of your favorite hair brands are, share with me in the comment below.

Thank you for reading, love always

  1. I really like The Hair Caterers! Got a short blunt cut wig from them and it’s up there with my top 10 beauty-relatef purchases in the last 3 years.

      1. I got ‘xenon’ (it is what i have on in my gravatar) but it is now sold out and i don’t know if they will restock soon but they have similar styles like ‘Yara’ (which i think is the longer version of xenon) and ‘Lyna’. I also want to get more and i have my eyes on a couple!

        P. S. Yara and some other lovely wigs are currently on sale
